Andersons Rock Creek Relics Threshing and Sawing Show
September 9 & 10, 2023
Andersons Rock Creek Relics Threshing and Sawing Show is held annually the weekend after Labor Day and features one of the largest displays of antique farm machinery in East Central Minnesota. In addition to threshing and sawing, there is an antique Tractor and Car parade each afternoon. You can take a walk through the corn maze at the tractor show, see working gas engines and buy a souvenir from the blacksmith or a woven rug from the rug weaver. Kids can participate in many game and craft activities at the Threshing and Sawing Show. Plenty of food and music to enjoy while watching the many demonstrations of how farm life was in bygone years.
The Andersons invite you to spend the weekend at the Rock Creek Relics Threshing and Sawing Show!

Anyone interested in showcasing a music talent? Contact us, we are looking for country, bluegrass, gospel and old time music!
The showgrounds are located three and a half miles north of Rush City, MN on old highway 61, there are two windmills in the yard, can't miss it!
We have focused on equipment, many restored pieces of equipment including, plows, cultivators, hay mowers, hay loaders, manure spreaders, loaders, and others. Some of them are demonstrated at the threshing show. There are many varieties of corn pickers, hay balers, and threshing machines. A McCormick Daisy Reaper was restored from only the pile of metal pieces, all the wood was gone.
The sawmill was Duane's fathers mill, Clarence W. Anderson. He operated it for many years a mile east of the Rock Creek Relics showgrounds. He ran the sawmill with a variety of different tractors over the years, a 35-70 Minneapolis and a 10-20 Titan, like the ones we have at the show. In later years it was powered with tandem John Deeres, a styled AR and D, which are part of the Andersons Rock Creek Relics collection now!
The loose hay demonstration was also originally owned by C.W. Anderson, as was the A John Deere with saw rig, the John Deere Model C
with the 3-row corn planter, and the GP with the 3-row cultivator. The building known as Grandpa's Shop also was moved from the home place to the showgrounds along with all the tools, line shaft and blacksmith equipment.
Most of the buildings on the ARCR showgrounds have been built over the years with lumber sawed on the sawmill, the vertical side boards, fade to a soft gray. It is hard to believe that we have been doing this for over 25 years, but I guess, as the saying goes, "time flies when you're having fun". We have enjoyed meeting many people that have the same interest in preserving the past for future generations, and the Rock Creek Relics threshing show
has become somewhat of a giant family reunion each year for us, our exhibitors, volunteers, and many of the people who come out to enjoy the show.
A corn maze was added in 2010, and runs mid September into October each year, great family fun with barrel train rides and activities for all ages, along with pumpkins, gourds, and maple syrup for sale. Many of the families return, year after year. This also gives us a chance to promote the threshing show to young families with tours of the ARCR showgrounds.
There have been many things donated to the show over the years, thank-you to all the organizations and individuals who have added to the show
by their generosity! Many pieces of equipment find their way to the scrapyard each year that could have been restored to their former condition.
New things are added to the threshing and sawing show each year as well as new exhibitors sharing their piece of history.
